Refunds & Course Transfers

At Home2Teach, we understand that schedules can get busy and occasionally prevent a student from attending a course.

With that in mind, we believe that there should be a clear cancellation policy.

Course Transfers

Course transfers are granted under the following circumstances:

The transfer window is open from the time of registration to:
- 18 days prior to the start of a writing session.
- 5 days prior to the start of an intersession literature course
Parents may transfer their registrations to a future session by emailing writing@home2teach.com during the transfer window.
There is no administrative fee involved with registration transfers during this window.
The transfer window closes
- 18 days prior to the start of a writing session.
- 5 days prior to the start of a literature intersession course.

Please note that there are no transfers for extended summer session courses or summer camps.

Refunds for online courses are only granted under the following circumstances:

The refund window is open from the time of registration to:
- 20 days prior to the start of a session.
- 7 days prior to the start of an intersession literature course.
Parents must request a refund in writing by emailing writing@home2teach.com during the refund window.
A full refund will be issued less an administrative fee:
- $25 per writing session registration.
- $15 per intersession literature course registration.
The refund window closes:
- 20 days prior to the start of a writing session.
- 7 days prior to the start of a literature intersession course.

Please note that there are no refunds for summer camps.

Intersession C - December 29-January 16

Refund Window ($15 administrative fee)
- Opens: December 5
- Closes: December 22
Transfer Window (no fee)
- Opens: December 5
- Closes: December 24

Session 2 - November 3-December 19

Refund Window ($25 administrative fee)
- Opens: September 19
- Closes: October 14
Transfer Window (no fee)
- Opens: September 19
- Closes: October 16
